Common questions
The widget is blank or not updating
Open the app once after installing. iOS sometimes delays widget refresh — wait a minute or remove and re-add the widget. Use the Large size for the best view.
Apple Intelligence isn't responding
workinOn uses on-device Foundation Models, which require:
- An iPhone 15 Pro or newer (or iPad with M-series chip)
- iOS 26.2 or newer
- Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri
If your device qualifies, models may still be downloading on first use. Check Settings → Apple Intelligence to see download status.
Siri doesn't recognize "Add to workinOn"
Open the Shortcuts app once after installing — that lets iOS register workinOn's actions with Siri. Then try again.
"Add to workinOn" isn't in my Share Sheet
Tap the share button, scroll to the bottom of the actions, tap Edit Actions, and enable Add to workinOn.
Photos won't attach
workinOn needs Photo Library permission. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → workinOn and grant access.
How do I clear everything?
Type "clear everything" in the chat, or use the in-app button. From Siri: "Hey Siri, clear workinOn".
The watch app isn't showing my list
Open the workinOn iPhone app once — the watch syncs on launch. Changes push automatically within a few seconds of opening the app. If the watch still shows nothing, force-quit and reopen the iPhone app.
The watch complication isn't colored
Complication color only appears on watch faces that support full-color WidgetKit complications — Infograph, Infograph Modular, Meridian, and a few others. Modular and X-Large faces are grayscale by design.
How do I add a workinOn complication?
Long-press the watch face → tap Edit → tap a complication slot → scroll to find workinOn. Four families are available: Circular (count), Rectangular (name + top item), Inline, and Corner.
How do I change a status item's severity?
In the iPhone app, tap the small colored dot to the left of any status item to cycle through info (blue), warning (yellow), and urgent (red). The watch complication tints to match the highest severity on your active list.
How do I uninstall?
Long-press the workinOn app icon and tap Remove App → Delete App. iOS will erase all app data. The watch app is removed automatically when the iPhone app is deleted.
